The story was the other one, but while it’s kind of bland I kind of like the cheesiness of the villainous characters, especially Simon Pegg’s one, which were quite fun. Maybe that is less of a problem for fans, who know exactly what to expect, but it was one of the major issues for me. I guess it’s not really supposed to be in a game about kid wizards but it’s pretty basic and the enemies are very repetitive. Last month, the developers promised to share “more news and updates” sometime this year, but it doesn’t look like it’s expected to be ready for a release anytime soon.The combat isn’t very good though. The Harry Potter open-world action RPG had an original release date for 2021 before it was delayed to 2022 a year ago. However, there is much controversy stemming from comments made by series creator J.K. It was also reported that Hogwarts Legacy, will reportedly add an option to create transgender heroes. The game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, is described as an “immersive, open-world action RPG”, where players will embark on an adventure through familiar and new locations. The game hasn’t seen a lot of publicity in some time. Moriarty didn’t elaborate, unfortunately for fans, and didn’t reveal any further details.
This is coming from journalist Colin Moriarty on the Sacred Symbols+ podcast (transcribed by VGC), who mentioned that he’d heard “behind the scenes that game is not coming out this year, and that it’s in some sort of trouble.” Here’s yet another one to add to the list - the highly-anticipated RPG Hogwarts Legacy is said to be “in some kind of trouble”, and therefore apparently won’t be releasing in 2022 at all. A lot of games have been delayed over the past year.
