The Xbox One has a feature called “Game Sharing” which was designed for houses with multiple Xboxes in them, but can be used between any two people. If you like playing older games like I do then this is a big bonus The Xbox One is backwards compatible with tons of Xbox 360 games and a smaller selection of original Xbox games. I don’t know if you’re new to Xbox this generation but a couple things worth pointing out are that That console is going to run Xbox One games better than the One X will, so I won’t need it at that point anyways Haha excellent! I am actually thinking about picking this up and then selling my One X because it’s just going to lose most of its value the closer we get to the next gen console. So anyways yes I think this is great deal It’s a 1TB console you’re essentially getting for $120, I’m sure you could sell it for $100 at that time. And it’s already been confirmed that all the accessories from this generation Xbox will work on the next one, so even if you trade in this one toward the next one you could keep that extra controller and not have to buy a second one next gen.Įven if you’re someone that wants to sell their console and upgrade to the next one right when it comes out, I don’t think you’d take that big of a loss on it. But this bundle is so damn cheap I think it would be well worth it even if you got the next Xbox right at launch. So if you were thinking about dropping $400 to get an Xbox One X then Id probably advise against that. It’s true that the next Xbox is probably only 15 months away. Every Halo game, every Gears of War game (including Gears 5 when it launches this fall), Forza Horizon 4, all of the reboot Tomb Raider games, Just Cause 4, Devil May Cry 5, Metro Exodus, Batman Arkham Knight, Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain, Killer Instinct, Banjo Kazooie, Hollow Knight, the Borderlands games, the DOOM reboot, Fallout 4, Life is Strange, Mass Effect, PUBG, Prey, Rocket League, Terraria, the Wolfenstein games, etc. There’s some excellent games on there right now as well.
You just scroll down and pick included games that you want to download to your console, and then you can play them as much as you want so long as your subscription is active.
The nice thing about this is that with the GamePass subscription included, you can plug the console in and then have hundreds of games you play right away. So that’s an $80 value, which means you’re essentially getting the 1TB console + controller bundle for $120. You’re getting an extra $50 controller and 3 months of a subscription that costs $10 per month usually.
